Understand the Skin First

Correct product selection starts with skin type and the main concern, not with trends alone. One person can have more than one concern at the same time.

Skin typeTypical signsProduct textureUseful ingredientsAvoid overuse of
NormalBalanced oil and moisture; few persistent issuesLight lotion or gel-creamNiacinamide, hyaluronic acid, antioxidantsUnnecessary harsh scrubs

Basic selection rule: Choose one main goal first. Introduce one active at a time. A gentle cleanser, moisturizer and sunscreen matter more than a long routine.

How to read ingredients

  • Look at the full formula rather than one hero ingredient.
  • Higher percentages are not automatically safer or more effective.
  • Fragrance and essential oils may irritate sensitive skin.
  • Preservation and packaging are part of product safety.
  • Sunscreen protection requires finished-product testing.

Simple Morning and Evening Routine

A consistent basic routine is usually easier to tolerate than using many active products together.

Real skincare serum, mask and notebook arranged for a routine

Routine principle

Start with cleansing, moisturizing and sun protection. Add one treatment only when there is a clear concern and the basic routine is comfortable.

Introduce slowly: Begin exfoliating acids or retinoids on selected nights rather than using them every day.

Morning (AM)

  1. Gentle cleanser or water rinse, depending on skin needs
  2. Optional hydrating toner
  3. Antioxidant or niacinamide serum
  4. Moisturizer
  5. Broad-spectrum sunscreen

Evening (PM)

  1. Remove makeup or sunscreen when required
  2. Gentle cleanser
  3. Treatment serum on selected nights
  4. Moisturizer or barrier cream
  5. Lip balm

Safe Layering Rules

  • Apply from thinner to thicker textures, but product instructions take priority.
  • Do not introduce vitamin C, exfoliating acids and retinoids all at once.
  • Use acids and retinoids on separate nights when irritation is likely.
  • Daily sunscreen is essential with brightening, acne-mark and exfoliating routines.
  • Patch test new products and stop use after persistent burning, swelling or rash.

  4. Maintain batch, raw-material and supplier records.
  5. Provide directions, warnings, net content, batch and date information as required.
